Erez began his musical journey as a drummer and synth programmer at the age of 11 before pursuing formal studies at two of the world’s premier music academies—the Prague Conservatoire in the Czech Republic and Berklee College of Music’s affiliate, Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in Israel. He further honed his expertise in symphonic orchestration under esteemed Russian composer Jan Friedlin, developing a versatile command of orchestral, electronic, folk, rock, and Middle Eastern musical styles.
His work has been recognized on numerous award-winning projects across film, television, digital media, and commercial productions. Notable credits include the Academy Award-nominated and Guinness World Record-setting short film Roads, the Emmy-nominated feature documentary The Heart of Jenin, and Beverly Hills Film Festival winner Fairytale, among many others.
Based in Los Angeles, Erez operates a full-service recording studio, where he continues to compose and produce scores for global film and television productions.
